Starting with the desire of our CEO, Edward Kato, and with the support of the successful bidders, we were able to contribute to those affected by the coronavirus and to the recovery of Japan, including the fitness industry.

We plan to donate the proceeds as soon as we receive payment from Yahoo! Auctions.

We hope this will contribute to a speedy recovery.

    I am Edward Kato, Representative Director of LYFT.

    In response to the impact of the declaration of a state of emergency due to the spread of the new coronavirus, which has affected training gyms and all people involved in sports, we will hold a charity auction to support sports-related personnel and fitness enthusiasts.

    All proceeds from this auction will be donated to COVID-19 countermeasures.

    LYFT has been loved by many people since its first product release in December 2018.

    However, due to the spread of the new coronavirus, various sports-related facilities, including fitness industry training facilities, have been temporarily closed, and many people have been forced to refrain from going out, and many negative news reports are being delivered daily.

    Amidst this, with the desire to share even a little bit of positive news, and after considering what LÝFT could do to energize Japan, we decided to hold a charity auction featuring the item most meaningful to me.

    These are the shorts I actually wore when I won the Beef Sasaki Classic overall award and placed 1st in my class at Olympia Las Vegas last year.

    Because these shorts hold such great value in my life, I believe they can contribute even a little bit more to those who are currently in need.

    We want to use this opportunity to brighten not only the future of the fitness industry but also all of Japan, and we will do everything we can, one step at a time, in hopes of a swift end to the new coronavirus.

    We are offering Edward Kato's custom stage shorts, actually worn by Edward Kato when he won the 2019 NPCJ Beef Sasaki Japan Classic and 2019 Mr. Olympia Amateur Las Vegas competitions, with his autograph.

    I started LÝFT with the desire to spread fitness to the world and, at the same time, to invigorate society through the means of a brand.

    In this serious situation, I wanted to help those affected and those forced to stay at home, so I decided to implement this project, however small it may be.

    The item I am putting up for auction is my stage shorts, which I wore when I won a competition, an item with strong sentimental value for me.

    While I cannot engage in activities to protect everyone from the dangers of the virus, I would be delighted if, through this project, by providing items to everyone who loves LÝFT and me, and by donating all proceeds, I could bring a little courage to Japan.

    More than anything, I pray for everyone's safety, security, and health.
