LÝFT CEO Edward Kato will be competing in the FWJ EVOLGEAR HIDETADA YAMAGISHI, IRIS KYLE JAPAN CLASSIC Pro Qualifier, which will be held at Belle Salle Takadanobaba on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
This is a fateful competition that he regrettably lost in the overall second place at the same competition held last September, failing to obtain an IFBB Pro card.
Edward has been making persistent efforts every day to prepare for this competition, using last year's悔しさ as a springboard. Here is a message from Edward to all of you who have always supported him.

"At the same competition last year, I placed second overall and was unable to obtain a pro card. It was a turning point for me, as I felt not only regret but also that there was still room for my body to grow.
In the six months since that defeat, I have re-examined every aspect of my life that could be improved, from my training regimen to my daily routine and even my sleep, and rebuilt my body from scratch.
This year, I've spent more than three months cutting weight, and I believe I'll be in the best condition of my life on the day of the competition.
I'm confident that I'll be able to compete in a condition that I'm satisfied with, in order to achieve my long-cherished goal of obtaining an IFBB Pro card.
Although it's a difficult time to participate in large-scale events, FWJ will be holding this competition with thorough infection control measures, so I ask for your support if you come to watch.
Your support gives me a lot of strength, so please cheer me on with passion."

The EVOLGEAR Hidetada Yamagishi, Iris Kyle Japan Classic, the title contest of Hidetada Yamagishi, the only Japanese professional bodybuilder active in the United States, will be held as a Pro Qualifier on Saturday, May 22nd, after discussions with the IFBB Professional League.
At the venue, FWJ, Japan's largest body-making contest, will hold a competition for the IFBB Pro card. This will be an important battle leading up to the Tokyo Pro in August, and many top-class athletes are expected to compete on the day.
This competition, which is attracting attention from the Japanese fitness industry, will undoubtedly be a high-level and exciting event.
Five new pros will be born in each category! Furthermore, the fierce battle for the right to compete in the Men's Physique Pro Show "EVOLGEAR Presents Tokyo Pro Men's Physique Super Show" on August 29th will be a highlight.
On the day of the event, in accordance with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's event holding guidelines, admission will be limited to half of the maximum capacity.
